Agent FAQS:

The 3 Day Escape is our core small‑group Margaret River itinerary, with comfortable accommodation and a focus on the region’s key highlights. The Platinum Tour runs with fewer guests and includes more premium accommodation, elevated food and wine experiences and a higher‑touch touring style.

We confirm departures from two guests, with maximum capacity at 15.

Most departures typically have 6–12 guests.

Couples, solo travellers and small groups looking for a relaxed, fully hosted introduction to Margaret River. It’s ideal for those who enjoy a well-balanced mix of scenic highlights, local history, and quality food and wine, without the need to plan every detail themselves.

Tours departing prior to August 2026 will likely stay at Margaret River Beach Resort (twin-share studio apartment). From August 2026 onwards, Margaret’s In Town (Standard Hotel Room) will be our preferred accommodation, offering easy access to the town’s bars and restaurants.

Breakfast and lunches on touring days are included as per the itinerary. Evening meals are at guests’ own expense, giving them flexibility to choose where they dine.

Yes. Winery tastings and entry to included regional attractions (such as Mammoth Cave or Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse) are covered where they form part of the itinerary.

The tour operates on set departure days for most of the year, with increased demand during weekends, school holidays and peak travel periods. Some dates may not operate if minimum numbers are not met.

Guests may bring one small to medium suitcase per person (recommended maximum size approximately 30cm × 45cm × 70cm). Vehicle luggage space is limited, so multiple bags per guest generally cannot be accommodated. Guests may also bring a small day bag or handbag onboard for personal items such as a camera, water bottle or light jacket. If travelling with additional luggage, most Perth hotels can securely store excess bags during the tour.

Departures begin with Perth CBD hotel pick‑ups between 7 – 7:30am on day one. Exact pick‑up locations and times are confirmed prior to departure.

We recommend booking in advance, particularly during peak seasons such as autumn and spring when some departures fill more quickly. Bookings can be made up to 48 hours prior to departure, subject to availability.

The 3 Day Escape itinerary includes three boutique winery visits and tastings, along with other regional highlights including forests, coastline and caves.

The focus of the tour is to showcase the diversity of the Margaret River region, not just wine tasting.

For this tour we focus on smaller boutique wineries rather than large commercial cellar doors, allowing guests to enjoy a more personal tasting experience.

A few of our favourites for this tour include:
– Brown Hill Estate
– Redgate Winery
– Edwards Wines
– Thompsons Estate

Specific venues may vary depending on seasonal availability.

Yes. Solo travellers regularly join the tour and often enjoy the small-group environment.

A single supplement applies for guests requiring a private room.

Guests should be able to walk short distances and manage a few steps at wineries, scenic lookouts and natural sites.

If you have clients with specific mobility requirements, please contact us prior to confirming the booking.

Occasionally venues may change due to seasonal availability, weather conditions or operational requirements.

If this occurs, we substitute with similar high-quality experiences within the Margaret River region.

Yes, the Margaret River 3 Day Escape operates year-round, with the exception of a short non-operational period over Christmas and New Year.

Yes. The tour integrates well into broader Western Australia itineraries and is often combined with experiences such as the Indian Pacific rail journey arriving into Perth.

In some cases a private departure may be possible depending on dates and group size. Please contact us to discuss availability.
