Spectacular Forest, Ancient Caves and Fascinating Maritime History

For a day out exploring Margaret River’s most breathtaking sites our Forest, Cave & Lighthouse Tour is not to be over looked. Visit the picturesque Boranup Karri Forest, the region’s largest – and most spectacular show cave – Jewel Cave, and mainland Australia’s tallest lighthouse. Cape Leeuwin lighthouse has just won a WA Heritage Award for its excellent new Lightkeeper’s Cottage Interpretive Centre, so we allow a little longer to explore.

Enjoy lunch at The Deckchair Cafe in the charming coastal town of Augusta, or upgrade to a beautiful long lunch at the Glenarty Road where they have a wonderful paddock to plate ethos and excellent wines.

The good people at Yahava are passionate about their coffee! We'll pop in to kick start the day with a little bit of caffeine before making the scenic journey south.

Scenic Walk
The Boranup Karri Forest

Spend a morning venturing into Margaret River’s spectacular natural surrounds as we explore the majestic Boranup Forest.

Sting Ray Spotting
Hamelin Bay

Next stop is Hamelin Bay to see the spectacular beach with its fine white sand, clear blue water and friendly stingrays swimming in the shallows.

Cave Tour
Jewel Cave

The Jewel Cave is the biggest show cave in Western Australia and arguably the most spectacular. Boasting  three incredibly beautiful crystal-encrusted chambers.

Where Two Oceans Meet
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

The tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia standing at 39m tall or 57m above sea level. We take a guided tour to hear stories about the history and workings of this incredible site.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at the newly renovated Colour Patch restaurant overlooking the beautiful Blackwood River.
