7 More Best Breakfasts in Margaret River
Margaret River is renowned for epic cuisine, long lunches and stupendous wine. Hospitality has flourished over the last few years as West Aussies “wandered out yonder”, so if it’s been a few years, or even a few months since your last trip to Margs, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the new places to dine.
Our 2020 Best Breakfasts in Margaret River blog is still our most-clicked, so we thought we’d round up a new list of excellent brekkie options – old and new. There’s been a few new gems popping up on the main street and beyond and we thought what better way to welcome the cooler mornings than with eight new cosy spots to get your morning coffee and breakfast fix.
Riversmith
This was an old servo until about 15 years ago, then they converted its brick shell, added timber for warmth and created a stylish, modern space. Riversmith changed hands not so long ago, and the new owners have revitalised the excellent menu with brunch staples like avocado toast, bacon and eggs and pancakes. Swing by for breakfast before enjoying some retail therapy along the main street.
122 Bussell Highway, Margaret River
Open daily 7:30am-1:00pm, plus tapas on selected afternoon/evenings

Egberts
If you can’t go past a classic bakery breakfast treat, then Egberts is the place for you. Founded by the family that long ran the Margaret River Bakery, you know you’re in for a tummy-filling treat at this tiny coffee and croissant bar. With delicious coffee, courtesy of Micrology, and all your favourite flaky treats – come with an empty stomach and enjoy.

Margaret River Bakery
Decked out with quirky frames and photographic prints, retro furniture and luscious greenery, Margaret River Bakery perfectly encapsulates everything we love about the town. Their pies are glorious, their sweet treats are enormous, and their fresh bread rolls are the definition of a country lunch. Dine in, and definitely take something home for r’on (later’on, that is).

Kingston Bakery Cafe
Family owned and operated, Kingston Bakery Cafe has been dishing up all our favourite bakery classics, as well as traditional Vietnamese feeds, for years along the main street.
From sushi and pho to burgers and speciality cakes and sugary treats, it’s a great spot to pop in for brekkie, brunch or even lunch.

Combi Coffee
It would be hard to miss the super cute (and bright!) vintage Kombi van that parks up at Prevelly Rivermouth for six months over summer. Known amongst the locals for serving coffee right on the water’s edge, grab a delicious Combi Coffee and head down to watch the surfers catch a wave. During the cooler months, you’ll find Combi Coffee at the Margaret River Farmers Markets each Saturday morning.
Rivermouth Road, Prevelly or Margaret River Farmers Markets.
Check Facebook for time and location.
