Every McLeod tour travels in our own vehicles, maintained in house and driven by our own guides.
Our vehicles
Four vehicles, one fleet
There are four of them: a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, an Iveco Daily, a Volkswagen Crafter and a Kia Carnival.
Every one is run below what it could carry — a back row set for three rather than four, a party moved up to the next vehicle — because the extra room is the point.
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
Up to 14 passengers
Fourteen passenger seats, with three across the back row rather than four. The spacing is deliberate, so the bus is comfortable at full capacity and not only below it.
The seats recline, the windows are privacy glass, and there is USB and USB-C charging throughout the cabin. Bags ride in their own compartment at the rear, and the side door and its step are automatic.

Iveco Daily
Up to 15 passengers
Sixteen seats are fitted and we travel with fifteen. The seat we leave out is the room the rest of the bus gets.
A PA system carries the guide's commentary to the back row.

Volkswagen Crafter
Up to 10 passengers
Thirteen seats are fitted and we travel with ten. Three seats fewer is room to spread out over a long day.
A PA system carries the guide's commentary through the cabin.

Kia Carnival
Up to 4 passengers
Six seats are fitted and we travel with four. The Carnival is the car for couples and small private tours.
Past four, the party moves up to the Volkswagen Crafter, where there is room to spread out.
