Taste Delicious Craft Beer, Cheese and Chocolate Too
Pressed for time? Enjoy a sleep-in? We pack a lot into an afternoon so join us for a fun-filled half day wine tour of Margaret River.
This tour is great introduction to the region, and a lovely way to spend an afternoon with friends or family. You’ll see, taste and discover plenty of delicious food and wine as we cover a lot of ground.
Our tour guides are friendly and approachable, and they love to share their favourite Margaret River experiences. Either Jon, Neil or Lincoln will guide you, and they look forward to meeting you!
Lunch at Cowaramup Brewery
We pick you up from the Margaret River Visitor Centre or your accommodation if you’re staying close to town.
The tour starts with a visit to a beautiful little Extra Virgin Olive Oil producer Olio Bello here we’ll have an opportunity to sample infused, pressed & natural olive oils, along with a massive range of relishes, jams & dressings. After that it’s time for lunch and a complimentary drink at Cowaramup Brewery or Black Brewing Co. You can savour their award winning craft beers with a tasting paddle (at your expense), or choose your favourite beer. If wine is your preference, there are lovely local whites, reds and a sparkling wine to choose from.
Margaret River Wine Tasting
After lunch it’s time to visit a couple of the wineries that helped put Margaret River on the map.
Margaret River produces only 3% of Australia’s wine, but around 20% of Australia’s premium product. While we’re best known for Cabernet, Chardonnay and the iconic Margaret River “SBS & SSB blends” you’ll have the chance to sample many other quality varietals too.
During the afternoon touring you’ll visit two wineries where cellar door staff will guide you through some superb Margaret River wines. A few of our favourites for the Half Day Tour include Brookwood Estate, Thompson Estate, Churchview Estate, Fermoy Estate, Hay Shed Hill, Knotting Hill, Fraser Gallop and Willespie.
Luscious Local Produce, Sensational Sea Views
The afternoon continues with some sensational local produce including chocolate from the much-loved Margaret River Chocolate Company. We taste cheese at the Margaret River Dairy Company and olive oil, balsamic vinegar and condiments at either Ollio Bello or Pukara Estate.
Throughout the day you’ll also appreciate the incredible natural beauty of Margaret River’s lush forests, rolling hills and opulent vineyards. It’s one of Australia’s most stunning wine regions. We drive along winding roads through natural Australian bush and possibly see some kangaroos. The tour finishes when we drop you back safely to your accommodation at the end of the day
We’ll pick you up

Here’s a few fantastic reviews that our guests have left on Tripadvisor – thanks all for your kind words!
We had a lovely time on our half–day wine tour with Neil, our bus driver and tour guide. The tour included two wine tastings, a visit to the local dairy factory shop and Margaret River Chocolate factory. Neil was very knowledgeable about the region and had great stories to share. We also appreciated the little stop at the end on his farm where he offered us and other international guests some wildlife viewing and we got to feed his horses.
We had a fabulous half day tour celebrating a birthday with 6 female family members and my little one year old daughter. We were picked up from our accomodation just out of Margaret River where we were warmly welcomed by our guide Lincoln and joined by a lovely young couple. We visited 2 wineries, an olive farm, a brewery for lunch and a chocolate and cheese factory. Lincoln was knowledgeable, approachable and friendly tour guide, making the day most enjoyable. The day was excellent value and enjoyed by everyone. We really appreciated the additional stop at the family farm to visit the horses! Highly recommend!
